Lord Merybourne hires Riders to hunt down the gryphon, and so they arrive. The Manor has been attacked by gryphons several times recently - including one attack that claimed the life of her youngest sister.

I've been feeling kind of meh about the books I've been reading - they've been good (some were not-so-good), but I haven't felt gushy-passionate about most of them.
